Yesterday, Hip Hop-influenced potato chip brand Rap Snacks announced a partnership with gift shop chain Spencer’s Gifts to sell its line of chips, popcorn and puffs at the mall retailer’s 690 locations nationwide.
Rap snacks is launching a line of t-shirts to accompany to chips to support its Rap Snacks Foundation’s Boss Up Program — an initiative designed to provide youth from under-resourced communities with entrepreneurial skills. Also, Spencer’s will be selling Rap Snacks’ new flavors from Hip Hop notables such as Cardi B, Migos and Fetty Wap.
“Rap Snacks’ cultural impact is a testament to our brand’s success,”
said CEO James Lindsay. “Our partnership with Spencer’s enables us to meet consumer demand, while also empowering our youth. Through the Rap Snacks Foundation’s Boss Up initiative, we are truly able to give young men and women the keys to achieve success through entrepreneurship.”
