[WATCH] Texas Man Recorded Viciously Assaulting Woman Over Blocking An Exit

Authorities have identified 30-year-old bartender Austin Shuffield as the suspect seen on camera viciously assaulting a woman in Deep Ellum, Texas—because she was blocking the parking lot exit.

According to Dallas police, L’Daijohnique Lee, 24, stopped her car after driving the wrong way down Elm Street. Shuffield got out of his truck commanding she move out of his way because she was blocking the exit. That’s when a witness says things escalated quickly as he watched in horror as Shuffield attacked the victim.

The caught-on-camera incident shows the two in a heated exchange before Shuffield pulls out a gun and holds it behind his back. Fearful for her life, the victim pulls out a cellphone to dial 911 and Shuffield smacks her phone out of her hand.  She reacts by hitting the man before he unleashes a bombard of uppercut punches and forceful blows to  her head as she is crouched over cradling her head.

When police arrived, the video was handed over to officers for review and Shuffield was taken into custody at the scene.  According to the arrest warrant, a .45 caliber Glock and knife were later found inside Shuffield’s vehicle.

Shuffield was arrested for aggravated assault causing injury, interference with an emergency call and public intoxication.

Owner of the High and Tight Barbershop and Speakeasy, Braxton Martin said Shuffield worked there as a bartender but was fired Thursday afternoon.

His bond is set at $2,000, but he remains in jail.
